Meet Debbie & Eric
Eric and Debbie Emms are the founders of Rise and Shine Cleaning Service, a multi-million-dollar residential cleaning company serving the Portland, Oregon market.
They founded Rise and Shine in 2014 while raising six children and, like many couples in business together, spent the early years figuring things out the hard way, not only as business owners, but as husband and wife.
Over the years, they built Rise and Shine into a company serving hundreds of recurring clients every week, supported by a team and the CBF systems that allow them to operate the business remotely while living in another country.
But their story is about much more than business success.
Through more than a decade of entrepreneurship, raising a large family, and facing serious life challenges they never could have planned for, Eric and Debbie have had to learn how to navigate pressure, uncertainty, changing roles, difficult conversations, and demanding seasons together.
And through it all, they’ve remained best friends, stayed deeply in love, and continued building a life they genuinely enjoy sharing.
That experience became The Couples Blueprint.
